Trip to the Breitenbush Hot Spring

Finally we made it to the popular Breitenbush Hot Spring (http://www.breitenbush.com). Soaking in the hot spring all day, eating delicious vegetarian meals, camping in the woods, doing yoga and meditation, and being there surrounded by beautiful nature together was just what we needed. This trip was a good-job-being-new-parents reward for Aaron and me :)


Aki loooved hot spring! Floating, splashing, banging, paddling, watching reflection, and of course sampling the delicacy of natural hot spring... yum!






We played a lot together in between meals and soaking... even played frisbee while holding Aki in my arm. That's a new skill I learned in this trip. Ha!

First Zoo Visit

Aki's favorite animal was a sea lion! It swam in circles and came right up to AKi's face every time. He was in awe...








We rode a train, which travels through Forest Park. Aki was such in a good mood that he smiled to everyone and every tree.

Summer Picnic!

I invited mamas and babies from my Japanese play group to our place and have a potluck picnic party. It was a hot day in 90's but everyone enjoyed nice shade in our yard. Pool, swing, tunnel, dogs, food, and good company! We should do this more often.
