Babysitting at Milo's house

As usual while Aki was having fun at Milo's house, mama & papa had a time together to reconnect. Eat, talk, and walk. Sounds very... basic but it's really hard to find time for ourselves now a days. We had delicious branch at Broder and walked around Marshal park near Milo's house. It became our favorite park! After the babysit, Yuri and Silas kindly invited us for the dinner. We always have great time with them!

Real Pool!

Today was the big day for Aki. He experienced a public swimming pool for the first time. He didn't get scared for even a moment and had so much fun! He floated by himself on his belly and on his back with a help of the floating aid. Mama was very proud of him.

Aki's new bike!

It's still a few days early for Aki's 1.5years old birthday, but parents can't be patient enough to wait to give the exciting gift for him. He got a balance bike! Aki was quite unsure how to hold up this bike by himself and push it. He needed lots of help from papa. But he said bye-bye to his old bike, which is broken and he carefully examined his new bike throughly. Training continues...

Baby shopping cart

Aki had so much fun pushing a baby shopping cart at Trader Joe's grocery store.

Rocks

We found an orange marker outside on our street and started drawing on them. Mama enjoyed it more than Aki.

Free concert in a park

Aki and I went to Sellwood park for a free concert! A band played awesome brazilian music and everyone was dancing. In the meantime Aki was too worried about flying balloons in the sky and couldn't pay much attention to the music... He would point each balloon flying to the sky and said bye-bye over and over with a bit sad face.

Nao

Our good friend Nao was visiting Portland and stayed with us for 4 days. Aki and Nao became great friends right away!

Blueberry Picking

We went to pick blueberries with Milo's family in Sauvie Island. We picked total of 30lb at the end!

Aki's friend Yurick turned 3 years old and had a birthday party at a nice park. There was an awesome water play area for kids! Aki showed off his cute belly and had a good time.

Today papa watched both Aki & Milo and I was able to work in my studio. It seemed worked out well. Kids had great time in the pool. Summer is the best!
