Tram ride
Aki's first exciting ride on a tram! He was fascinated by the view from the above. It was a gorgeous day and we saw Mt. Hood very clearly.

Boats
Aki and mama took a train and went to Portland downtown to see boats and play in water fountains. He has been fascinated by boats and even enjoy saying "Bo!"

Park Day with Japanese Moms & Kids
In the summer, Japanese moms & kids group meet up in park and enjoy the sunshine instead of in a room at the church.
Bike Trick Lesson by Papa
Aro was teaching neighborhood kids how to do bike tricks. Aki seemed proud of his papa!
Piñata
Aki and I were invited to celebrate Saya's 4th birthday at a park. Aki tried hitting the Piñata for the first time.
Babysitting at Milo's
Aki is getting better and better at skateboarding every time he gets babysat by Yuri & Silas. Milo is outstanding with skateboarding and is a good influence for Aki.
Portland Symphony in the Park
Aki & I got together with Saori & Lucious and Yuri & Milo to see the Portland Symphony in the park. One of the wonderful things about living in Portland is that there are many free concerts, movies, and events during the summer.
At the end of the concert, they gave away free recorders to kids and played all together with the symphony!
Camping trip Summer 2012 - Day 8,9,10
Our next stop was Del Norte Redwoods State Park. Aki hiked for 1 mile of rugged trail by himself!
On the last day of our trip, we visited the cabin in Yachats, Oregon, where Aro and I stayed at one month before Aki was born. It was great to visit the cabin and the ocean with Aki on my arm now. We saw whales and seals in the ocean!
Camping trip Summer 2012 - Day 7
Now we are heading back home. We decided to stay at Patric Point State Park tonight. And the park turned out to be a great find!
