Making Friends

Look look! Aki is holding hands with his friends at the Japanese play group! We have been in this group for one and half years now and I have never seen Aki tried to play or interact like this with his friends. But today Aki made a good effort to have some fun with friends today. I had a talk with Aki before the playgroup and explained that going to playgroup is for playing and learning with friends not for nursing all the time with mama. Aki really understood me.
They were so cute and I was so happy about it.

Lulu

Aki's good friend Lulu is like a big brother even though they are only 3 months apart. At this age, 3 months difference is like 3 years difference. Lulu always tries to play with Aki by giving toys, holding hands, and sharing snacks.

Today Aki was babysat by Lulu and his mom Saori for 4 hours for the very first time. It sounds like Aki was not a very easy baby to take care of because he really missed me!

Zoro

We visited our neighbor's dog, Zoro. He is very friendly and Aki loves him.
