Alberta Street Fair

There was an art opening that we are a part of at Screaming Sky gallery in Alberta street and we decided to check it out as well as the street fair. 

There were so many craft and talented musicians performing everywhere on the street and Aki was so fascinated by them.

 

Fenli's Birthday party

We got invited to Aki's classmate, Fenli's birthday party at his house.

There was a awesome balloon man in the party and made whatever you requested right in front of our eyes. Aki requested a crab!

The party theme was SUPERHERO! We all colored the superhero masks.

Uncle Greg

Greg visited us tonight and joined the dinner together on our picnic blanket.

Aki is very lucky to have many awesome men around in his life!

 

Pine cone flower

Aki made a pine cone flower with friends and gardener Suzanne at school. Mama made him hold still to take his picture :(

We set the pine cone flower at a spot by the gazebo and thanked the garden for all the work this summer.

Concert in the Park

Again we went to the concert in the park in our neighborhood.

Aki started wearing his sandals in a funny way...

So happy with the unique sandals!

Yuba & Toma

We got invited to play at Yuba and Yoshie's house with Kyoko and Toma today. They have a wonderful deck and be able to feed ducks and fish for crawfish!

Morning Play

We made a cat mask out of a paper bag.

Aki attached a paint roller to his amburance and played for a while by himself. It's amazing what hold his attention sometimes! He must be learning a lot from his play.

Oregon pacific Railroad and Romania Fest

We finally got on this beautiful train!

It went by the beautiful Oaks Bottom refuge and along the Willamette river.

Aki was kind of serious as always when he is focused on something interesting. Or maybe he was just in a bad mood...

Arrived at Heritage Museum to see other trains on exhibit.

There was a huge! steam engine. Aki didn't seem to show as much interest as mama did.

They were really cool!

Aki was very unhappy with the super loud horn and held his ears all the way back.

Finally we got this smile at the end!

      

 After the train ride, we passed by Romania Fest and decided to stop by. We got to hear many bands playing and saw interesting outfits on people.

We run into our friend and she invited us to have a tea in the exotic looking tent.

Delicious cool tea revived us.

 

Mama and Aki played with tarot cards and this was the one mama drew.
