APAK 's art class at New Day School

APAK lead an art class and introduced "collaboration" in Aki's class today. We showed our paintings at the beggining of the class and everyone was so interested. Aki had a hard time focusing on the project because his parents were there. He was distracting the class for sure for the understandable reason.

We let them choose one colored pencil for each child and gave a piece of paper with the child's name on it.

After drawing on own paper, we traded with friends and drew more!

We traded with everyone in the class.

At the end each child got his or her paper back with all the classmates drawing on it.

This is Aki and his classmates' collaboration!

At the end of the class we all drew on a large paper on the floor!

Some children had more passion in drawing. Some were ready to go outside and play.

This is the beautiful result from our art class. It went pretty well and we had so much fun!
